Delete your TeamEase account

You can delete your TeamEase account at any time, straight from the app or by sending us a request here. This page explains both ways and what happens to your data.

Delete your account in the app

This is the quickest way. It works on Android and iPhone and takes effect immediately.

  1. Open the TeamEase app and sign in.
  2. Tap More at the bottom, then My data & privacy.
  3. Tap Delete my account and then Continue.
  4. Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number and tap Delete my account.

You are signed out on every phone, and you can no longer sign in with that account.

What gets deleted

  • Your login and personal profile: name, mobile number and email.
  • All signed-in sessions and notification tokens on every device.
  • Your access to every company you were part of.

What your employer keeps

Your attendance belongs to your employer's payroll and legal records, so these stay with your employer after your account is deleted:

  • Attendance punches, worked hours, leave and correction records, and your employee profile in the company's records.
  • Punch selfies, until they are deleted automatically at the end of your employer's retention period (6 months by default).

These are deleted when your employer no longer needs them or closes its TeamEase account. If you want them erased sooner, ask your employer's HR team, or use Erase my data in the app before deleting your account. Backups are overwritten within 14 days. See our privacy policy for details.

Deleting your account cannot be undone. If you join a company again later, your employer will need to add you again.

Request deletion from the web

Can't open the app, lost your phone, or already uninstalled it? Send us this form. We will confirm the request with an OTP or a call to the mobile number you sign in with, then delete your account within 30 days, usually much sooner.

We use these details only to find and delete your account.

Closing a company account

If you are the owner or admin of a company on TeamEase and want to close the whole company account and delete all its data, send us a message from the contact form from your registered mobile number or email. We will confirm with you before anything is deleted.
